Hi there. My name is Dave. I am an interdisciplinary designer and entrepreneur on a mission to make the world happier, healthier, safer, and more sustainable — for all animals, not just humans.

I am a co-founder of Harmless Studio (an integrated vegan design firm) and Unicorn Goods (the world's largest vegan store), in addition to six other businesses that include a print magazine called Native, a Kickstarter-funded organic food project called Taco Bike, and a co-working space for digital creatives called Moonbase.

Before all of that, I was a creative director at the multinational ad agency Y&R (Young & Rubicam), where I co-founded a special projects office called Y&R Moonshop.

I hold a master’s in industrial design from the Rhode Island School of Design (where I also sometimes teach), a certificate in collegiate teaching from the Rhode Island School of Design, a bachelor’s in cultural production and film from Vanderbilt University, and professional accreditation in vegan interior design from VeganDesign.org. I am also a member of the American Institute for Graphic Artists (AIGA) and the Industrial Designers Society of America (IDSA).

As a designer and art director, I have worked for small non-profits, Fortune 100 companies, and everywhere in between. For a full client list, as well as press, talks, and awards, please check out my CV.
